viewing spots throughout the valley. Tania Parker, of the Ojai Val-
ley Land Conservancy (OVLC), has identified her favorite places in the Conservancy's preserves to watch the mountains turn to pink.
“The Ojai Meadows Preserve has
a really nice wide open view of the mountains and the Topa Topas over the pond — but you are not up close and personal. It is a nice view from afar,” she said. “On the Valley View Preserve, you can be part of the pink moment and see it pretty nicely.”
Wilson's Point and Luci's Trail are both accessible from OVLC's Valley View Preserve. Parker recommends those trails to hikers interested in viewing the pink moment. According to Parker, Wilson's Point is a fairly easy trail to hike, while Luci's is short, but steep.
