Though high temperatures in Ojai are expected to hover in the mid-seventies throughout the week, the holiday season has officially began.

Christmas trees are available for sale from the Ojai Valley Lions Club and Wachter Hay & Grain.

The Lion's Christmas Tree Farm is at 987 Ojai Ave. and will remain in operation until the trees are sold out, said Lions Club spokeswoman Pat Stone.

The club plans to contribute 10 percent of the farm's gross sales to the Ojai Unified School District to benefit local elementary school children, Stone said.

Last year, the Lions donated more than $52,000 to local schools and programs, she added.

Trees also are available at Wachter Hay and Grain at 114 S. Montgomery St.
