REPORTED CRIMES
Spray-painted vandalism caused a reported $40 in damage at the
Church of Christ Jan. 5.
Vandalism to a vehicle in the 400 block of West El Roblar Drive
did a reported $400 in damage Jan. 8.
A gym bag containing clothing and a purse containing cash, credit
cards, a driver's license, Nokia cell phone and a checkbook were
reportedly taken from a locker in the 900 block of Country Club
Drive Jan. 11. The loss was listed at $1,185.
Damage to lighting covers in the 1100 block of North Montgomery
Street totaling $60 was reported Jan. 12.
Two San Moritz Elite kitchen knives valued at $188 were reportedly
taken from an Arcade business Jan. 13.
A possibly known suspect was named in the reported theft of
$800 in cash from a purse in the 300 block of Fox Street Jan.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A Watkins Way man was arrested Jan. 10 on Ojai Avenue on suspicion
of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail
was set at $5,000.
A Fairview Road man was arrested on Signal Street Jan. 10 on
suspicion of panhandling. Bail was set at $1,000.
A Country Club Drive man was arrested in Meiners Oaks Jan. 11
on suspicion of possessing and being under the influence of a
controlled substance and other illegal material. Bail was set
at $16,000.
A South Encinal Avenue man was arrested Jan. 11 in Meiners Oaks
on two violation of probation warrants totaling $10,000.
An Oxnard man was arrested in Oak View Jan. 11 on two drug-related
warrants totaling $20,000.
A Montgomery Street woman was arrested on Creek Road Jan. 12
on suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of a
syringe, and possession of medication without a prescription.
Bail was set at $11,000.
A Dale Street man was arrested on Signal Street Jan. 13 on suspicion
of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail
was set at $5,000.
A Serenidad Place man was arrested in Oak View Jan. 13 on suspicion
of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $10,000.
A Chessire Court man was arrested on St Thomas Drive Jan. 14
for allegedly possessing medication without a prescription and
less than an ounce of marijuana. Bail was set at $10,000.
A Ventura man was arrested on West Ojai Avenue Jan. 15 on suspicion
of being under the influence of a controlled substance and on
a no-bail felony warrant.
A West Ojai Avenue man was arrested at his residence Jan. 15
on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance
and possessing a narcotic without a prescription. Bail was sent
at $20,000.
