Fraser to be honored with tournament

A memorial tournament will be held for longtime softball player Danny Fraser, who died recently in an automobile accident. According to longtime friends, Rick Gibson and Missy Hinks, Fraser played with both honor and dignity. "He exemplified the true meaning of sportsmanship on and off the field, and he is greatly missed," Hinks said.
The Danny Fraser Memorial Softball Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 27, at Sarzotti Park. All proceeds will be donated to the Fraser family. The men's tournament has an eight-team maximum, and will start at 9 a.m. A raffle will be held, with gift certificates from local businesses.
