Police Blotter for the week ending April 12, 2002

REPORTED CRIMES
Spray-painted graffiti in a rest room reported at Sarzotti Park did an estimated $60 in damage April 2.

Vandalism to a vehicle parked in the 100 block of South Encinal Avenue April 3 did a reported $400 to $500 in damage.

Gang-related graffiti to the Matilija Junior High School gymnasium wall was reported April 6. The loss was estimated to be less than $400.

Wind chimes, a tulip plant and two potted cacti were reportedly taken from a residence in the 200 block of East Summer Street April 7. The loss was listed at $205.

A classroom at Nordhoff High School was reportedly vandalized April 8, where a VCR and radio were allegedly taken. The loss was undetermined.

A cable rope and soda machine at Libbey Park were reportedly scratched with a sharp object April 9, and a metal gate hinge was reportedly bent. The loss was listed at $125.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A Burnham Road man was arrested at his residence April 3 on four drug-related warrants totaling $75,000.

A Mountain View Avenue man was arrested in Oak View April 4 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Donna Street man was arrested at the Ojai Police Station April 5 on suspicion of possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $20,000.

A Signal Street man was arrested on West Ojai Avenue April 5 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $6,000.

A Sunset Avenue man was arrested at his residence April 8 on a violation of probation warrant for driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Golden West Avenue man was arrested in Oak view April 9 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.
