REPORTED CRIMES
Vandals reportedly used a permanent black marker to deface hallways and doors at Matilija Junior High School April 11, causing $3,000 in damage.

Burglary to a vehicle parked on Mahoney Avenue April 14 resulted in the reported theft of a Craftsman Drill and drill bits, a Makita sander and a hammer. The loss was listed at $75.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A Santa Ana Road woman was arrested in Ventura April 11 on suspicion of possession of a syringe, but was denied bail because of a felony parole hold.

A Sunnyglen Avenue man was arrested on Oak Street April 13 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

A North Ventura Avenue man was arrested in Ventura April 13 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing a switchblade knife, and driving without a driver's license. Bail was set at $11,000.

A Pleasant Avenue man was arrested on Aliso Street April 13 on suspicion of driving under the influence on a bicycle. Bail was set at $1,000.

A Sierra Court man was arrested at his residence April 14 on warrants for violation of probation and failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $10,000.

A woman residing at Lake Casitas was arrested April 14 at the lake entrance on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Carpinteria man was arrested on Baldwin Road April 14 on suspicion of driving under the influence without a license. Bail was set at $6,000.

A La Luna Avenue woman was arrested at her residence April 15 on a warrant for failing to appear on a drunk-in-public charge. Bail was set at $1,000.

A Camarillo man was arrested in Oak View April 15 on a vilation of probation warrant. Bail was denied.

A Maricopa Highway man was arrested in Oak View April 15 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and on a warrant for violation of probation. Bail was set at $10,000.
