Police Blotter for the week ending April 26, 2002
REPORTED CRIMES
Vandalism totaling $600 was reported at an Old Grade Road business
April 17.
Cash totaling $160 was reportedly taken from a business in the
300 block of East Ojai Avenue April 17.
Two credit cards were reportedly taken from a mailbox in the
12400 block of Sisar Road April 19.
Coin boxes at a Lake Casitas shower house were reportedly broken
into April 24, causing a loss of $78.60 in quarters.
CITES AND ARRESTS
A Meiners Oaks man was arrested on El Roblar Drive April 17 on
suspicion of public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,000.
A Sunnyglen Avenue man was arrested on Signal Street April 17
on suspicion of possession of stolen property and forgery. Bail
was set at $10,000.
A transient man was arrested on Matilija Street on suspicion
of public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,000.
A Bundren Street man was cited and released in Ventura April
20 for driving a vehicle while in possession of less than an
ounce of marijuana.
A La Luna Avenue man was arrested in Ventura April 21 on suspicion
of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail
was set at $5,000.
A Burnham Road man was arrested in Oak View April 22 on warrants
for being under the influence of a controlled substance and driving
under the influence. Bail was set at $10,000.
A Tico Road woman was arrested in Ventura April 22 on suspicion
of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession
of stolen property. Bail was set at $10,000.
A Padre Juan Avenue woman was arrested at her residence April
23 on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Bail
was set at $10,000. |
