Your Handicap's What? top Sundowners

Thanks to Dave Van Winkle's 23 points, Your Handicap's What? opened the Sundowners Golf League's 12th season in the lead with help from teammates Stan Coburn and Lonnie Gibson, who each added 18.
Van Winkle posted a one-under-par 35, tying the Sambaggers' Sam Williamson and Doug Ragan. Bopper's Thumpers' Jacob Lusk posted the low gross, with a three-under-par 33, and also tied Rick Brooks and Jack Van Etten for second-highest points at 21.
Your Handicap's What? racked up 59 points, followed by Bopper's Thumpers, with 58, Scramblers, with 57, Sambaggers with 56, and Above Par, formerly Spanky & Co., with 55 points.
Sammy's Ropers, Good, Pick it Up, Village Idiots and Leftovers are in the middle of the pack at 54 points, followed by Never Up, Never In, 53, Bugsy's Bandits and Forrest Gumps, with 52, Parker's Putters, Chiefs i.e and #&?!@$%, with 51, and Rhino's FFFF, at 49 points.
Play resumes Tuesday at Soule Park Golf Course.
