Police Blotter for the week ending May 10, 2002

REPORTED CRIMES
A Maricopa Highway business reported the theft of $1,180 in cash from its business office April 25.

Visor and Sharp palm-type pilots, a purse, prescription and sunglasses, a utility knife and penlight were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Del Oro Road April 26. The loss was listed at $1,677.

Vandalism at Libbey Park April 30 did a reported $400 in damage.

Vandalism at the Boyd Center April 30 did a reported $150 in damage to a city-owned vehicle when a tire was punctured, possibly by a screwdriver.
Sony Playstations I and II, a DVD player, 10 DVDs and five Playstation videos were reportedly taken from a residence on the 100 block of El Conejo Road May 2.

A wallet containing $50 in cash, seven credit cards and a California driver's license was reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of North Donna Street May 3.

A two-way radio, fishing gear, camping equipment and a television set were reportedly taken from a camper in the 200 block of Valley Road May 3. The loss was listed ar $763.

Six pieces of jewelry and $7,500 in cash were reportedly taken from a residence in the 600 block of Mahoney Street May 4.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A Fairview Road man was arrested at Libbey Park April 30 for allegedly drinking in public. Bail was set at $1,000.

An Anita Avenue man was arrested at the Ojai Police Station on suspicion of felony fraudulent use of a credit card.

A Nye Road man was arrested at Foster Park May 1 on suspicion of battery and brandishing a weapon. Bail was set at $15,000.

A Shady Lane man was arrested on Blanche Street May 2 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Summer Street woman was arrested on Oak Street May 4 on suspicion of illegally entering an apartment. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Lancaster, Calif. man was arrested in the St. Thomas Aquinas Church parking lot May 6 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.
