Unknowns, Serves Up take WTT lead

In the finals of the World Team Tennis League, the Unknowns of the Red Division bested Serves Up of the Blue Division, 36-14. Both teams are in first place in their respective divisions.
The Unknowns won every game with the exception of one. Serves Up's Steve Herman and Kit Skare defeated Richard Wilson and Kari Cantu, 8-4.
The Unknowns' win gives them the first-place title in the adult WTT league.
For third place, the Fila-Goods narrowly defeated the Du-Rons, 31-29. Angela Ocone was instrumental in the Fila-Goods' win, defeating Marcy Switzer, 6-1. After a "Super Tie Breaker," the Fila-Goods came out on top.
In another close game, Golden Hawk slid by the Misfits, 27-25 for fifth place. Despite Misfit Rick Thompson's win over Lucke Sommer, 6-1, the Misfits fell in the "Super Tie Breaker," 5-1.
