Police Blotter for the week ending June 7, 2002| On June 4, a Tico Road man was arrested for
public intoxication in Libbey Park. On June 4, a Felix Street man was also arrested for public intoxication. On June 4, a Lomita Avenue woman reported a cell phone theft from her vehicle. The loss was listed at $100. On June 3, a Mountain View Drive, Oak View man was arrested for driving while under the influence and with a suspended license. On June 3, a Ventura man was arrested in Ojai for petty theft and possession of a controlled substance. On June 2, a Casitas Springs man was arrested for possession of marijuana in his vehicle. On June 2, a suspect was arrested on Spring Street in Oak View for vandalism. The suspect reportedly slashed the tires of nine vehicles with a knife or ice pick. On June 2, a theft of a digital video camera, an ice chest and numerous food items was reported in the campground at Lake Casitas. Another petty theft was reported at the same campsite on June 1. On June 2, a Fulton Street woman was arrested for failure to appear. Bail was set at $5,000. On June 1, a Rice Road man was arrested for failure to stop, and marijuana was found in his possession. On May 31, a Bundren Drive, Oak View man was arrested for possession of marijuana and taken into custody. Bail was set at $5,000. On May 31, a Burnham Road man was arrested and booked into Ventura County Jail for possession of methamphetamines, possession of paraphernalia and forgery. |
