Johnson drives in Endo for OVLL title

The Oak View Little League, Major League, Athletics, defeated the Foothill Cardinals by a score of 11 to 6. Ryan Lagos pitched three innings to get the win for the Athletics, Jason Endo pitched two innings and Thomas Quackenbush pitched the last inning for the save.
Oak View was led in hitting by Jason Endo, who went three for four with two home runs and seven RBIs. Jimmie Johnson went two for four with two RBIs and scored twice, and Thomas Quackenbush went two for four and a RBI and scored once.
Wednesday night, the Athletics went on to face the Saticoy Red Sox for the championship.
The Oak View Athletics won the Tournament of Champions championship game by defeating Saticoy, 2-1.
The game found both teams scoreless for many innings.
Ryan Lagos pitched all six innings for the Athletics for the win, and only gave up three hits. Jeremy Dunn pitched all six innings for the Saticoy Red Sox, giving up six hits, including the hit that determined the win for Oak View.
Travis Volaski caught what could have been a double-deep in the outfield to stop Saticoy from driving in their player on third.
Albert Mireles led Oak View in hitting with the team's only home run. He also sent Jason Endo to third before he got an out at first, providing a window of opportunity for the Athletics. Jimmie Johnson, under pressure with with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning, went two for three with a double that drove in Endo for the Athetics' win.
Ryan Lagos, Jamie Allen and Jason Endo all went one for three.
The team members of the championship team are, Jason Endo, Ryan Lagos, Albert Mireles, Jimmie Johnson, Thomas Quackenbush, Jamie Allen, Matt Walgraeve, David Morillo, Tanner Wilcox, Paul Fichera, Travis Volaski and Alex Castro.
