Police Blotter for the week ending July 5, 2002

REPORTED CRIMES
A blue BMX specialized Vegas bicycle with no recorded serial number and valued at $200 was reportedly taken from a residence in the 400 block of South Lomita Avenue June 23.

A glass bottle was reportedly thrown through a window of a business in the 500 block of West El Roblar Drive June 26, causing $150 in damage.

Vandalism to a vehicle's trunk in the 1000 block of Moreno Drive June 27 did a reported $180 in damage.

Vandalism to a vehicle in the 1100 block of Fierro Drive June 28 did damage reportedly in excess of $2,000.

A smashed vehicle window in the 1000 block of Country Club Drive June 28 did a reported $150 in damage.

Vandalism to a vehicle in the 800 block of Grand Avenue June 29 did a reported $390 in damage.

Several items in a carport in the 800 block of Drown Avenue were reportedly spray-painted June 29, causing an estimated $50 in damage.

A 5,000-watt, water-cooled Honda generator weighing 500 pounds was reportedly taken from a residence in the 11200 block of Ojai-Santa Paula Road June 30. The generator was valued at $4,000.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A Maricopa Highway man was arrested in Meiners Oaks June 26 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Burnham Road woman was cited and released in Oak View June 27 for allegedly possessing less than an ounce of marijuana and driving without a license.

A transient woman was arrested in Rose Valley June 27 on suspicion of making criminal threats and domestic battery.

A Ventura man was arrested on Park Road June 28 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

A South Encinal Avenue man was arrested at Lake Casitas June 28 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

An El Centro Street man was arrested at his residence June 30 for allegedly resisting or delaying his arrest. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Grand Avenue woman was arrested at her residence July 1 for allegedly violating her parole. Bail is not an option in parole violation incidents.
