Johnson four strokes ahead in President's Cup

On June 24, the Soule Park Senior Men's Golf Club played the first week of the President's Cup Tournament.
The following are the results of the individual low net tournament:
First flight, with a handicap of 9 to 14 (14 players):
First place, Al Johnson, posting a 62;
Second place, Jim Lane, posting a 66;
Third place, Jerry Stull, posting a 67.
Second fight, with a handicap of 15 to 17 (14 players):
First place, Darrell Downey, posting a 65;
Second place, Dale Babcock, posting a 66;
Third place, Bob McPherson, posting a 67;
Third flight, with a handicap of 18 to 26 (11 players):
First place, Leo Jennings, posting a 66;
Second place, Richard Rockefeller, posting a 70;
Third place, Fred Standifer, posting a 71;
Fourth flight, with a handicap of 18 to 36 (12 players):
First-place tie between Don Galvin and Bill Meade, each posting a 65;
Second place, Herb Aasness, posting a 67.
