Parker's Putters jump to second
by Misty Volaski
If it weren't for Barkely Martin's 23 points, the Sambaggers
would most likely not be in third place right now. Martin shot
a five-under-par 31, the lowest gross of last Tuesday's round.
It brought the Sambaggers up from seventh place to third place
in the second half of the season.
Other low grossing golfers included Jacob Lusk, who shot a 34;
Mick Borgeson and Robin Williams, both of whom posted 35; Tyson
York, Sam Williamson, Roland Scott and Stan Coburn, all of whom
shot even-par 36.
Parker's Putters are in second place, three points ahead of
the Sambaggers.
Parker's Putter Dale King shot a 39 for 23 points on the day,
jumping Jim Nelson's squad from 12th place to second in one week.
They are in second place overall, as well, with 635 points after
11 weeks of the 16-week season.
Above Par is currently in first, with three of its five players
scoring at least 20 points. Ken Kallusky tied King and Martin,
with 23 points for the day, shooting a one-over-par 37.
Other high scorers included Leslie LaBraque and Ted Cotti, each
of whom scored 22 points. Roland Scott logged in 21 points, followed
by 11 others with 20 points.
