REPORTED CRIMES
An Ojai man reported being a victim of an assault with a deadly weapon July 2 when he claimed that a woman attempted to run him over with her car on Robin Street at Golden West Avenue.

An unknown subject reportedly willfully and maliciously set fire to a vehicle July 10 in the 400 block of Bryant Street. The loss was listed at $425.

A Sony CD player and a case containing 60 CDs was reportedly taken from a locked vehicle on Maricopa Highway south of Matilija Canyon Road July 14. The loss was listed at $900.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A Santa Barbara man was arrested on Drown Avenue July 10 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Burnham Road man was arrested in Oak View July 11 on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. Bail was set at $10,000.

A La Luna Avenue woman was arrested at her residence July 13 on a $5,000 misdemeanor drug-related warrant.

A Fulton Street man was arrested at his residence July 13 on suspicion of public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,000.

A North Signal Street man was arrested at his residence July 13 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

An East Oak Street man was cited and released at the Ojai Valley Community Hospital July 13 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A Mahoney Avenue man and a Ventura woman were cited and released on Casitas Vista Road July 13 following reported misdemeanor batteries.

A Port Hueneme woman was cited and released at Libbey Park July 14 on suspicion of disturbing the peace.

A Creek Road man was arrested in Casitas Springs July 15 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug-related paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $7,000.

A Burnham Road man was arrested in Libbey Park July 15 on a no-bail, felony parole hold.

An Ojai-Santa Paula Road man was arrested in Upper Ojai July 15 on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, and driving under the influence. Bail was set at $65,000.

A Park Road woman was arrested at the Ojai Valley Community Hospital July 18 on warrants for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing a syringe. Bail was set at $6,000.
