P.A.L. Lightning boys undefeated, take first place

The Ojai Lightning seventh grade boys' basketball team recently took first place in an Ojai tournament - again.
The boys, who are part of Ojai Valley's Police Activities League, went undefeated against Santa Paula, Carpinteria P.A.L., Carpinteria, Ojai Heat and Ventura Panthers, and have consistently beaten the best teams from the area.
Ojai Lightning is coached by head coach Matt Murphy and assistant coach Lonnie Stanford.
Ojai Lightning also included a few sixth-graders - Anthony Martinez, Nick Colbern, Todd Robie and John Espinoza - all of whom contributed to the win.
