Pro. Auto in 1st with 10-1
win

Professional Auto slid in 10 runs against T.A.C.T. Construction
to maintain its first-place standing in the Ojai Women's Softball
League. Denise Stoltz and Jessica Pardee of Professional Auto
led the team at bat, each connecting for two hits of three at-bats.
Dina Fragale had was perfect at bat, going three for three for
the fourth-place T.A.C.T. team.
Professional Auto, however, completely dominated the game, scoring
four runs in the first inning alone and shutting out T.A.C.T.
until the sixth inning, when T.A.C.T. drove in one runner to
lose, 10-1.
Later that day, second-place Just Us Again played last-place
Ojai Fresh Juice. Now surprisingly, Just Us Again bested Fresh
Juice, 15-8, but not before Ojai Fresh Juice took the lead in
the second inning, 5-3. Just Us came woke up in the last half
of the game where Debbie Groshko went four for four and teammate
Kathy Broomer Grunck went three for three to lead their team
and the game.
The women's softball league plays throughout the summer at Sarzotti.
