World Team Tennis returns to Libbey Park

The Ojai Recreation Department will begin its fall season of the World Team Tennis League on Aug. 30 and 31.
World Team Tennis for kids will meet Fridays at 3:15 p.m. at the lower Libbey Park tennis courts.
In order to participate in the league, all youth players must be enrolled in the Recreation Department's tennis lessons. Players must also be able to serve and keep score. Adults meet on Saturdays at 11 a.m.
Both leagues will compete for 11 weeks, and trophies will be awarded to first-, second- and third-place teams.
Both leagues filled up quickly last session, so coordinator Rick Thompson recommends early registration. The cost is $25 for kids and $29 for adults.
