Ando/Wells Fargo tear it up for championship
by Misty Volaski

It was Ando/Wells Fargo who surprised everyone at the Ojai PC Pros Men's Softball Tournament, held recently at Sarzotti Park.
Ando/Wells Fargo started the tournament rather dismally, losing their first game, 15-14, to Wrec Crew. However, Ando won every game in the loser's bracket, winning every game thereafter.
Ando began by besting Les Hinks Auto, 25-6. A few hours later, they pounded first Ojai Optical, 24-4, then United Alliance, 21-1. At 5 p.m., they went up against Wrec Crew once again, this time winning 21-11, making them elligible for the championship game against Borderline.
Borderline, who had previously outmatched all other opponents by a large amount of runs, was no match for Ando/ Wells Fargo, who beat Borderline by five points for a 17-12 win.
Ando/ Wells Fargo players include: player-manager Chris Russell, Tom Lunsfords, Jack Taylor, Al Morano, Dave Patterson, Tim Albrent, Rich Jacoby, Kurt Booth, Ken Kramer, Kevin Hawkins and Ron Kramer.
The tournament was held to benefit Ojai's Teen Fitness Center.
