Police Blotter for the week ending September 13, 2002
REPORTED CRIMES
The theft of mail in the 600 block of North Ventura Avenue was
reported Sept. 5.
Vandalism to a vehicle in the 900 block of Moreno Drive was reported
Sept. 6. The loss was listed at $600.
CITES AND ARRESTS
Several transients were cited Sept. 4 for allegedly trespassing
at Buckboard Lane and Montgomery Street.
A Port Hueneme woman was arrested in Oak View Sept. 5 on three
warrants for theft, grand theft
and forgery, and on suspicion of driving on a suspended license,
being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession
of drug-related paraphernalia. Bail was set at $22,000.
A Topa Topa Street man was cited and released in Libbey Park
Sept. 5 for allegedly drinking in public.
A Tico Road man was arrested in Meiners Oaks Sept. 6 on suspicion
of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.
A Santa Ana Road woman was arrested in Ventura Sept. 6 on suspicion
of possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended
license, and on a no-bail, felony parole hold.
A Bundren Street man was arrested in Oak View Sept. 6 on suspicion
of spousal battery, disabling a telephone, and making criminal
threats. Bail was set at $25,000.
A Ventura man was arrested in Oak View Sept. 7 on suspicion of
being under the influence of a controlled substance and allegedly
possessing a syringe. Bail was set at $6,000.
A Ventura man was arrested on Creek Road Sept. 8 on suspicion
of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail
was set at $5,000.
A transient woman was arrested in Oak View Sept. 8 for allegedly
possessing drug-related paraphernalia and on two misdemeanor
warrants. Bail was set at $20,000.
A Camarillo man was arrested in Oak View Sept. 9 on suspicion
of being under the influence of and possessing a controlled
substance. Bail was set at $15,000. |
