Parsons' senior golf team plays with Soule

As usual, the Soule Park Senior Men's Golf Club was out on the course last week playing another tournament. This week's was played in a four-man, two best net format. The following are the results of that contest.
First flight, with a team handicapof 36 to 68 (low flight):
In first place, Tom Parsons, Hugh Black, Gordi Whitcomb and Bob Lombardi, who posted a total of 118.
In second place, Bob Bryden, Bob McPherson, Bob Soares and Brian Whitney, who posted a total of 120.
There was a third-place tie between the team of Dale Babcock, David Gibson and Hal Janssen, and the team of Jim Burke, Ray Cavallero, Jim Maxwell and Rich Plain, who posted a total of 121.
Second flight, with a team handicap of 69 to 143 (high flight):
In first place, Gil Galaraza, Richard Heintze, Gene Holt and Sonny Mahon. who posted a total of 117.
In second place, Fred Cates, Art Cox, Ralph Phillips and Wesley Wilson, who posted a total of 121.
In third place, Gary Markley, Daryl Muth, Kamal O'deh and Roy Steichen, who posted a total of 122.
There was a fourth-place tie between the team of Len Block, Konrad Gleissner, Bob Guyll and Bruce Rehwoldt and the team of Dick Brown, Bob Cousar, Lou Liddi and Leo Jennings, all of whom posted a total of 123.
