Police Blotter for the week ending September 27, 2002

REPORTED CRIMES
A $100 Audiovox cell phone was reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle Sept. 15. in the 600 block of East Ojai Avenue.

A Rampage AM/FM/CD player and two speakers were reportedly taken from a residence in the 200 block of East El Roblar Drive Sept. 18. The loss was listed at $180,

A Sony stereo face plate, 60 CDs and two speakers in a wooden box were reportedly taken from a vehicle in the 100 block of East Oak View Avenue Sept. 18. Entrance to the vehicle was made by smashing the rear window. The loss was listed at $1,387.

Ten dollars worth of prescription medication was reportedly taken from a residence in the 1000 block of Ayers Road Sept. 19.

A purse, wallet, driver's license, credit cards, $50 in cash, prescription glasses and other items were reportedly taken from a vehicle in the 100 block of North Montgomery Street Sept. 19. The loss was listed at $235.

Vandalism to a mailbox in the 4000 block of Thacher Road was reported Sept. 19.

A Nokia cell phone and a Radio Shack police scanner were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 11100 block of North Ventura Avenue Sept. 21. The loss was listed at $450.

Meiners Oaks School officials reported $400 in damage Sept. 21.

A Razor scooter, 5 pounds of kitty litter, a divorce file and mail were reportedly taken from a residence in the 600 block of Grand Avenue Sept. 21. The loss was listed at $306.

A Black and Decker blower and hedger, four rakes and an air compressor were reportedly taken from a residence in the 100 block of North La Luna Avenue Sept. 21. The value of the items was not indicated on the report.

A $1,500 man's necklace was reportedly taken from a residence in the 100 block of Taormina Lane Sept. 23.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A La Luna Avenue man was arrested on Drown Avenue Sept. 19 on a $5,000 warrant for failing to appear on a vehicle violation.
A Shady Lane woman was arrested in Ventura Sept. 20 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Branson, Mo. Man was arrested at a downtown motel Sept. 21 on a $5,000 warrant for failing to appear.

A Ventura man was arrested on east Ojai Avenue Sept. 21 for allegedly being drunk in public. Bail was set at $1,000.

A Ventura man was arrested in Oak View Sept. 22 on suspicion of possessing and being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug-related paraphernalia. Bail was set at $16,000.

A Mira Monte man was arrested in Ventura Sept. 22 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.
