Police Blotter for the week ending October 25, 2002

REPORTED CRIMES
The front door glass window at an Ojai Avenue art gallery was reportedly broken Oct. 15. The damage was listed at $150.

A camera and related equipment, computer equipment and a 4-foot ladder were reportedly taken from a residence in the 8500 block of Nye Road Oct. 16. The loss was listed at $4,805.

A case of beer was reportedly taken from an Ojai liquor store Oct. 18. The beer was valued at $14.
Vandals did a reported $150 damage at Mira Monte school Oct. 21.

A compressor, saws and other tools were reportedly taken from a residence in the 10900 block of Alto Court Oct. 22. The loss was listed at $2,225.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A Fernando Drive man and a 16-year-old Ventura boy were arrested after allegedly attempting to rob two men on El Roblar Drive Oct. 15. One of them allegedly used a knife during the reported crime. The adult was booked into county jail with bail set at $100,000, and the juvenile was released to family custody pending a hearing.

A transient man was arrested in the 1300 block of Foothill Road on suspicion of possession of stolen property - a sheriff's sergeant's cap. The amount of bail was not listed.

A transient man was arrested on Donna Street Oct. 15 on six drug-related and vehicle code warrants totaling $14,578.

A Waite Street man was arrested at Sarzotti Park Oct. 16 on a $5,000 warrant.

A transient man was arrested on Matilija Street Oct. 17 on a $1,000 misdemeanor warrant.

A Ventura woman was arrested in Oak View Oct. 17 on suspicion of trespassing and on a $5,000 warrant for failing to appear in court as promised. Total bail was $6,000.

A Fulton Street man was arrested at the "Y" Oct. 17 on a $5,000 misdemeanor warrant.

A Descanso Avenue man was arrested on Carillo Road Oct. 18 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $4,000.

A Menifee, Calif. man was arrested in Oak View Oct. 20 on two felony and two misdemeanor warrants totaling $50,000.

A Ventura man was arrested on burnham road Oct. 19 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Catalina Drive man was arrested in Oak View Oct. 20 for allegedly driving without a license and failing to provide identification to a peace officer. Bail was set at $2,000.

A Church Road woman was arrested in the Arbolada Oct. 20 on two drug-related warrants totaling $15,000.

A Del Norte Road man was arrested at his residence Oct. 21 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Drown Avenue man was arrested at his residence Oct. 21 on suspicion of being drunk in public. Bail was set at $1,000.

A Maricopa Highway man was arrested at his residence Oct. 21 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of medication without a prescription, and on two misdemeanor warrants. Bail was set at $21,000.

A transient man was arrested in Casitas Springs Oct. 21 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Sisar Canyon Road man was arrested on Park Road Oct. 21 on a $5,000 warrant for driving under the influence.

A Grand Avenue man was arrested in Oak View Oct. 22 on a no-bail, felony parole hold.

A Ventura man was arrested in Oak View Oct. 23 on a no-bail, felony parole hold and four warrants totaling $12,000.
