REPORTED CRIMES
The owner of an Oak View business reported the Oct. 18 theft of $1,300 in cash.

A Sega Playstation, seven video games ad 15 DVDs were reportedly taken from a residence in the 100 block of South Padre Juan Avenue Oct. 23. The loss was listed at $325.

A wallet containing credit cards, identification and $85 in cash was reportedly taken from a Mira Monte business Oct. 23. One of the credit cards was then allegedly used to purchase an undisclosed amount of goods or services.

A Nextel cell phone valued at $200 was reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Thomas Drive Oct. 25.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A Monte Via man was cited and released Oct. 18 in Oak View on a $500 warrant for driving without a license.

An Anita Avenue man was arrested in the Arbolada Oct. 23 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Franklin Drive man was arrested in Meiners Oaks Oct. 25 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Casitas Springs woman was arrested at her residence Oct. 26 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A rockaway Road woman was arrested near her residence Oct. 26 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, and on a warrant for driving under the influence. Bail was set at $20,000.

An Ojai woman was cited and released on Signal Street Oct. 28 for allegedly filing a false crime report.

A transient man was arrested on Drown Avenue at Waite Street Oct. 28 on suspicion of public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,000.,

A Sunset Avenue man was cited and released near his residence Oct. 28 on suspicion of trespassing.

A Donna Street man was arrested at county jail Oct. 29 on suspicion of forgery, identity theft, burglary and possession of stolen property. No bail amount was provided.
