Police Blotter for the week ending December 13, 2002

REPORTED CRIMES
A red Specialized Enduro bicycle (SN# PM99902) valued at $963.40 was reportedly taken from the front yard of a home in the 100 block of Fox Street Dec. 3.

A fictitious $200 check, that was in reality a deposit slip, was reportedly cashed at an Arcade business Dec. 4.

A $200 CD/AM-FM car stereo was reportedly taken from a vehicle in the 100 block of Shady Lane Dec. 5. Damage to the vehicle was listed at $150.

A $100 Ericcson cell phone was reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the Ojai Valley Shopping Center parking lot Dec. 6.

Eight bowling balls valued at $40 were reportedly taken from a front lawn in the 1400 block of Meadowbrook Avenue Dec 7.

A private school bus in the 200 block of West Lomita Avenue was reportedly vandalized Dec. 7 in an alleged attempted theft. The damage was listed at $600.


CITES AND ARRESTS
A Bald Street man was arrested in Oak View Dec. 5 on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $11,000.

A Ventura Avenue man was arrested in Ojai Dec. 6 on three misdemeanor traffic warrants totaling $3,000.

A Mountain View Avenue woman was arrested at her residence Dec. 7 on a $5,000 warrant for driving under the influence.

A North La Luna Avenue man was arrested in Meiners Oaks Dec. 8 on a drug possession warrant, on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, and two other drug-related offenses. Bail was set at $26,000.

An Almond Drive man was arrested in Oak View Dec. 8 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A homeless Ojai man was arrested on Park Road Dec. 8 on suspicion of public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,000.
