REPORTED CRIMES
A known subject reportedly attempted to cash an alleged $9,200 forged check at a local bank Jan. 7.

A named suspect allegedly punched and kicked a 24-year-old woman several times in the 700 block of Fernando Drive Jan. 8.

A $100 bill was reportedly taken from a residence in the 300 block of North Signal Street Jan. 9.

A 47-year-old man reported that he was the victim of a strong-arm robbery by two men in the area of North Nye Road and Highway 33 Jan. 11. The victim reported the loss of $90 in cash and a California ID card.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A Maine man was cited and released in the city on Maricopa Highway Jan. 10 for allegedly possessing less than an ounce of marijuana.

A Woodland Avenue man was cited and released in Oak View Jan. 11 for allegedly possessing less than an ounce of marijuana.

A Sumac Drive man was arrested in Oak View Jan. 12 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A transient man was arrested on Ojai Avenue Jan. 12 on suspicion of public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,000.

An Avila Drive woman was arrested at her residence Jan. 12 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A transient man was arrested in Casitas Springs Jan. 12 on a no-bail warrant, on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, and for allegedly providing false information to a peace officer.

A Gregory Street man was arrested near his residence Jan. 13 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

An Apricot Street man was arrested at his residence Jan. 13 on two drug-related warrants totaling $10,000.
