NHS needs spring sports coaches
Nordhoff's Athletic Director, Dick Sebek, announced recently
that Nordhoff has two spring coaching positions open.
The school needs a track and field coach as well as a junior
varsity baseball coach.

Coed ORD softball tournament set for
Saturday
The Ojai Recreation Department will be hosting a men's and women's
softball tournament this Saturday at Sarzotti Park. The women's
contest will be using metal bats, while the men's will use wooden
bats.
The format will be pool play into single elimination. Trophies
will be awarded for first, second and third-place teams. Championship
T-shirts will be awarded to the first-place team. Each team is
guaranteed three games.
There is a maximum of eight teams, so register now to ensure
your team a spot tomorow.
The cost is $150 per team, with a $10-per-game umpire fee.

Spring adult softball leagues open for
registration
The Ojai Recreation Department is currently accepting registration
forms for the 2003 spring softball league.
The Men's B League will play Sunday afternoons, beginning March
20.
The Coed C Recreational League will begin on March 31 and be
held every Monday evening.
The Coed B Competitive League will be Tuesday nights starting
April 1.
The Coed D Recreational League will begin April 3 and play evey
Thursday night.
All games are at either 6:30, 7:40 or 8:50 p.m. All teams are
guaranteed 12 games, and there will be double-headers.
A manager's meeting will be held March 2 at 7:30 p.m. for men's
divisions and 7 p.m. for church and coed divisions.
The cost is $350 per team, plus a $12 per game umpire fee.
