Sundowners Golf meeting Tuesday
The Sundowners Golf League will hold its orientation meeting
Tuesday at 6 p.m. on the Soule Park Golf Course patio. Captains
or representatives from teams that played last year are expected
to attend to ensure one of the 16 available spots that are typically
reserved for returning teams. The league is entering its 13th
year of Tuesday afternoon play at Soule Park. Single players
with an established handicap are welcome to attend as there may
be open spots on some teams.
ORD offers rock climbing classes
The Spring Break Rock Climbing classes, offered by the Ojai Recreaton
Department, will begin March 31 and run through April 4, then
April 7 through 11. Classes are for kids over the age of eight.
Classes will focus on both the novice and experienced climber.
The classes will be held at the L.A. Workout Sport and all equipment
is provided. Participants must provide own transportation to
and from L.A. Workout Sport each day.
