Free youth tennis clinic set
for Saturday
Wilson Tennis, the Ojai Youth Tennis Committee and the Ojai Recreation
Department, in partnership with the Ojai Tennis Tournament, are
joining up to provide the youth of Ojai with a free youth tennis
clinic, to be held this Saturday. No equipment or experience
is needed.
Youth of all ages are welcome to attend the event, which will
be held at the lower Libbey Park tennis courts from 9 to 11 a.m.
There will also be prizes handed out. Call 646-1872 for more

Golfers needed for Ojai Golf
Classic
The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa will host the third annual Ojai
Golf Classic on May 5. This charitable golf tournament will raise
funds which will be donated to the youth of Ojai through the
Ojai Valley Youth Foundation and the Ojai Education Foundation.

Run or walk in the 13th Ojai
Classic Heart and Sole
On May 17, the 13th annual Ojai Classic heart and Sole 10K/5K/Walk
& Neighborhood Stroll will start at Sarzotti Park.
The race focuses special attention on a healthier lifestyle through
exercise.
Participants will be raising funds to help fight the No. 1 killer
in the country - heart disease.
Registration for the event will begin that day at 7 a.m. The
5K will start at 8 a.m., the Neighborhood Stroll will start at
8:15 a.m. and the 10K will begin at 8:45 a.m. Those interested
can call Sheryl Daley, corporate events director at the American
Heart Association, at 445-7050.
NHS baseball benefit set for
tomorrow
Tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Nordhoff parking lot, a
rummage sale and car wash will be held to raise funds to benefit
NHS baseball. To donate, call 646-0366 or 640-8310.
Sign up for the Ojai men's
summer softball league by May 11
Anyone interested in the Ojai men's summer league needs to have
money in by May 11 to Ojai Sports. The price is $400 per team.
