It began as a weekend of lumps for the Ojai Valley Aquatic Club with a drubbing from Santa Barbara Blaze to begin the end-of-league tournament. Santa Barbara handed Ojai their head: 14-0. Tied 6-6 at the end of regulation, it was Golden Bay's Owen Lloyd and Landen Cooley making the difference in the end. Though Ojai's Caleb Sommer won the sudden-death sprint and Reed Gordon had a valiant attempt on goal, Golden Bay's Greg Lutler made one of his 10 saves in the cage and set up Owen Lloyd for the game winner. The final score was Golden Bay 7, Ojai 6.
