'Cat softballers dominate All-League selections

Several Villanova girls' softball players were honored with places on the All-Condor League teams. The following are those girls and their carreer and season statistics.

Tiffany Adams, senior
·Four-year varsity letterman
· 2003 VPS softball offensive player of the year
· Currently ranked seventh in Ventura County with a .545 average
· Currently ranked fifth in Ventura County with 18 stolen bases

Whitney Jenks, senior
· Four year varsity letterman (three years Nordhoff, one year VPS)
· 2003 Condor League softball MVP
· 2003 VPS softball team co-captain
· Honored this year in the Ventura County Sports Hall of Fame as VPS Female Athlete of the Year
· Named female athlete of the week in the Ventura County Star
· Pitched two back-to-back no-hitters (has three no-hitters this season)
· Cuttently ranked eighth in Ventura County with .543 batting average
· Currently ranked second in Ventura County with 149 strikeouts
· Currently ranked fifth in Ventura County with 11 wins on the mound
· Currently ranked ninth in Ventura County with 0.71 ERA

Sydney Malkin, junior
· · Three year varsity letterman
· Starting catcher and lead off hitter
· Currently ranked sixth in Ventura County with .500 batting average
· Currently has an on-base percentage of .663

Connelly Jenks, sophomore
· Two year varsity letterman
· Starting third baseman and backup catcher
· Currently ranked fourth in Ventura County with .634 batting average
· Ranked first in Ventura County with 31 stolen bases
· Ranked 10th in Ventura County with 19 RBIs
· Ranked 10th in Ventura County with 21 runs scored
· Leads VPS with a .700 on base percentage
