Krysta
Spring Cowgill
Krysta Spring
Cowgill, 14, of Ojai, is walking hand in hand with the Lord after
fighting a courageous seven-year battle against a rare brain
cancer. She was born Aug. 19, 1988 and died Thursday, May 22,
2003 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Known to her doctors as the "Miracle Child," Krysta
was that and so much more to those whose lives she changed forever.
Throughout her life, she served as a constant source of inspiration
thanks to her courage, determination and ability to make others
laugh even in life's darkest moments.
She touched many people during her short time on Earth and will
continue to do so in Heaven, as she sings along to her favorite
Dixie Chicks CD with the other angels.
A freshman at Nordhoff High School, Krysta was a former Girl
Scout, an honor roll student at Matilija Junior High School and
proud member of the Matilija Choir and Scrapbook Club.
She will be missed but definitely not forgotten.
We are not afraid of death, only of being left alone.
"Trust
- lean not on your own understanding"; and a promise: "he
will make your path straight."
Let go completely. Trust. Live with it all in an open hand before
God. Jesus promises he will work it all out. I do believe for
you, always - a new sunrise. - The Women's Devotional Bible
