Ojai b-ballers head to All-Star basketball games
Tomorrow, the Ventura County Basketball Coaches Association will be sponsoring the Ventura County All-Stars basketball games, to be held at Ventura High School.
Graduating seniors in the northern part of Ventura County will play against graduating seniors in the south. The girls will tip off at 5:30 p.m.; boys play at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a three-point shooting contest, a boys' slam dunk contest.
General admission is $5, and students can get in for $3; tickets are available at the door.

Lady sluggers: sign up for summer league now
The Ojai Valley Women's Softball League is taking registration now for the summer 2003 season. League will begin June 19, and will be played Thursday evenings at Sarzotti Park. The fee is $325 per team. For more information, call Rene Ellis at 640-0199. The registration deadline is June 9.
