REPORTED CRIMES
A known suspect reportedly brandished a .22-caliber rifle in the 1400 block of North Ventura Avenue May 31.

A purse containing $310 in cash, credit cards, identification, birth certificate, keys, paycheck, checkbook and makeup bag was reportedly taken from an Arcade business June 12. The loss was listed at $430.

Trespassing was reported at the Capri Motel June 12.

A check was reportedly taken from a mailbox in the 100 block of Burnham Road June 16 and cashed.

A boy's blue unknown-make or model bicycle with no recorded serial number was reportedly taken from a porch in the 900 block of Woodland Avenue June 17. The loss was listed at $25.

CITES AND ARRESTS
A Prospect Street man was arrested on Valley Meadow Road June 11 on three warrants for possessing and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $30,000.

An Arnaz Avenue man was arrested near the "Y" June 12 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Ventura woman was arrested in Casitas Springs June 13 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Susan Avenue man was arrested in Casitas Springs June 14 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Mercer Avenue man was arrested at his residence June 14 on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and an injection device. Bail was set at $11,000.

A transient man was arrested in Ojai June 15 on suspicion of public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,000.

A Creek Road man was arrested at his residence June 16 on a $5,000 warrant for violation of probation.
