Eveline T. Abraham

Eveline T. Abraham, 82, of Ojai, died Monday, July 14, 2003. She was born March 18, 1921 in Sommers, Conn., to William Abraham and Theresa Buckley Abraham. She had a sister, Nona. At age 7, she moved to Southwick, Mass.
She and her father raised champion beagles known as Congomod beagles. She graduated from Westfield High School and moved to Long Beach, Calif. in the early 1940s.
Miss Abraham worked as a supervisor for General Telephone for 20 years. When she retired, she moved to Ojai, where she ran Take a Break Pet Care. Her interests included animals and painting.
She is survived by her niece, Jane Burrier, of Huntington, Mass.; and grand-niece Amybeth Cummina and John William Cummina.
Miss Abraham's ashes will be buried in West Cemetery, Sommers, Conn. Memorial donations may be made to Help of Ojai or S.P.A.N. in Ojai.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Ojai.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clausen Funeral Home in Ojai.
