· A reader sends a thumbs-up to Catherine on Plano Drive for finding and delivering her son's wallet intact. The world needs more honest peaople like her. The Ojai Valley is fortunate to have her as one of their citizens.

· A reader sends a thumbs-up to Tim Baird, new OUSD superintendent, for being an active member of the community by leading the Ojai Band Concert Children's Parade. It is great to have a superintendent enjoying life in Ojai.

· A brown dinosaur sends two thumbs-down to the cranky drivers it sees passing the nursery coming into Ojai. Lighten up! At least you're not extinct - yet.

· A reader sends a thumbs down to the Ojai Valley Community Church for letting teams practice soccer on their fields but not allowing the parents to park in the church's parking lot. This makes for a very dangerous situation on the narrow El Centro Street where there are no sidewalks. A car could easily hit young kids.
