Police Blotter for the week ending October 10, 2003

REPORTED CRIMES
A Sony stereo, black wallet and $100 in cash were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 00 block of Valley Road Sept. 26. The loss was listed at $320.

A golf ball was reportedly the cause of a broken window in the 900 block of East Ojai Avenue Sept. 28. The loss was listed at $300.

Vandalism to electric wire tubing was reported at Libbey Park Sept. 28 The loss was listed at $80.

The convertible top of a vehicle parked off Country Club Drive was reportedly cut and a window was reportedly broken Sept. 28. The loss was listed at $2,200.

Vandalism to a vehicle at Sarzotti Park totaling $1,500 was reported Sept. 30.

A $399 cement mixer was reportedly taken from a residence in the 500 block of Creek Lane Sept. 30.

A set of Lynx irons and Calaway and Taylor Made woods were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of North Alvarado Avenue Oct. 1. The loss was listed at $800.

A $70 Panasonic CD player was reportedly taken from a downtown retailer Oct. 1.

A $150 car stereo was reportedly taken from a locked vehicle in the 500 block of North Montgomery Street Oct. 1.

The windshields of two vehicles in the 1300 block of Orchard Drive were reportedly smashed Oct. 2. The losses were listed at $800.

The attempted theft of a car stereo was reported at Matilija Junior High School Oct. 3.

Spray-painted gang-related graffiti was reported on bathroom walls at the Boyd Center Oct. 3.


CITES AND ARRESTS
A Mariano Drive man was arrested on Baldwin Road Sept. 28 on a $25,000 drug warrant.

A Lomita Avenue man was arrested in Meiners Oaks Oct. 1 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Country Place man was arrested in Mira Monte Oct. 2 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

An Ojai-Santa Paula Road man was arrested on Cuyama Road Oct. 3 on a $5,000 warrant for allegedly violating a retraining order.

A Reposo Drive man was arrested at Nordhoff High School Oct. 3 for allegedly resisting arrest. Bail was set at $5,000.

A Grandview Avenue man was arrested at an Ojai Avenue liquor store on suspicion of being drunk in public. Bail was set at $1,000.

A transient man was arrested on East Ojai Avenue Oct. 4 on three misdemeanor warrants totaling $15,000.

A Thousand Oaks man was arrested in Mira Monte Oct. 4 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

A transient man was arrested in Oak View Oct. 4 on three misdemeanor and one felony, no-bail warrant.

An Oso Road man was arrested Oct. 4 on two drug-related warrant totaling $20,000.

A Forest Avenue man was arrested in Mira Monte Oct. 6 on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,000.

A La Luna Avenue man was arrested in Mira Monte Oct. 6 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.
