Ojai Invitational Basketball Tourney set for next weekend
The Ojai Sharks and the Ojai Stars will be co-hosting a boys' 10-and-under and a girls' 12-and-under basketball tournament Nov. 22 and 23.
The tournament will be held at the Ojai Recreation Department gym. Each team is guaranteed three games, and birth certificates are required for all players wishing to participate.
Trophies will be awarded to the first- and second-place teams. There will also be individual awards.
The cost is $250 per team, and registration must be received by tomorrow. Teams can register online at eteamz.com/ojai

Turkey Trot softball tourney starts Nov. 29
The Ojai Recreation Department will host the Fourth Annual Turkey Trot Softball Tournament Nov. 29 and 30 at Sarzotti Park baseball fields.
There will be a double-elimination format and a one-and-one count.
The cost is $150 per team with a $10 per game referee fee. Team trophies will be awarded to first- through third-place team, and championship T-shirts and bat bags will be awarded to the first-place squad. Registration deadline is Nov. 20, and early registration is recommended, as this event fills up quickly. Call the ORD at 646-1872, Ext. 103, for more information.
