REPORTED CRIMES
Power tools valued at $830 were reportedly taken from a building
in the 700 block of North Montgomery Street Nov. 20.
Vandalism to a commercial business on Maricopa Highway north
of the city was reported Nov. 20. The report indicates that a
shot was fired at the building, causing $50 in damage.
A rock was reportedly thrown through a vehicle's window parked
at the Pratt Trailhead Nov. 20. The loss was listed at $200,
Twenty CDs valued at $150 were reportedly taken from a locked
vehicle in the 500 block of North Montgomery Street Nov. 21.
Damage to the vehicle was listed at $75.
A Canon EOS 35mm camera, camera bag, lenses and battery, and
$20 in quarters was reportedly taken from a locked vehicle parked
on Matilija Canyon Road Nov. 21. The items were valued at $750,
and damage to the vehicle was listed at $200.
CITES AND ARRESTS
An Aliso Street man and woman were arrested Nov. 18 in the 200
block of East Ojai Avenue for unlawful camping. Bail for each
was set at $1,000.
A Woodland Avenue woman was arrested in Meiners Oaks Nov. 18
on suspicion of driving under the influence. Bail was set at
$5,000.
A Tico Road man was arrested at his residence Nov. 20 on suspicion
of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail
was set at $5,000.
A transient man was arrested downtown Nov. 20 on a $5,000 petty
theft warrant.
A La Luna Avenue man was cited and released in Meiners Oaks Nov.
21 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled
substance.
A man who gave Lake Casitas as his address was arrested at the
Ojai Police Department Nov. 21 on two $5,000 misdemeanor warrants.
A Nye Road man was arrested at his residence Nov. 22 on two vehicle
code warrants totaling $2,000.
A transient man was arrested at Sarzotti Park Nov. 22 on two
$5,000 warrants for public intoxication.
A Highland Drive man was arrested at his residence Nov. 22 on
a no-bail warrant for failing to appear on a grand theft charge.
A Nye Road man was arrested at his residence Nov. 22 on a battery
charge. Bail was set at $20,000.
A Villanova Road man was arrested at his residence Nov. 23 on
suspicion of being under the influence of and possessing a controlled
substance. Bail was set at $15,000.
A Ventura woman was arrested on Blanche Street Nov. 23 on suspicion
of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail
was set at $5,000.
