The Ojai Valley News welcomes e-mailed letters to the editor and reader comments. Our Readers' Forum page provides an outlet for community response to current issues, a place to voice your view on Ojai Valley concerns and a place to speak your mind and heart on a variety of interests.
Letters to the editor should be concise and to the point and limited to no more than 400 words. Those that exceed the word count will be returned, unpublished.
Letters are printed in the order in which they are received. We may take letters out of order to make sure comments and opinions are run in a timely manner before a major event, such as an election.
Letters must include your name, city or area (such as Mira Monte) and your telephone number. The phone number is for newspaper use only and will not be published.
Letters to the editor should be either submitted in the context of the e-mail, or as an attachment, preferably as an MS Word attachment in either Mac or PC platforms. If you compose your letter using a different word processing application, please save it as TEXT before attaching it to your e-mail.
