would buy if here: pet supplies, office supplies (PC Pros has virtually nothing)

general comment: Mostly it's the hours; this city's shop owners all want to roll up the sidewalks at 6pm or so -- its maddening.  By the time I get off work, most of Ojai is closed.  There also isn't much selection and many local merchants are flakes; they promise to special order things and forget to do it, claiming lamely that things are "back ordered" when they're clearly lying.   I have had this happen on too many occasions to think its a coincidence, so i drive and get the thing I want immediately with just another half hour in the car.
