Council's 'priority' list wasn't high enough on the priority list

The Ojai City Council plodded its way through three of its eight agenda items during a marathon five-hour meeting Sept. 27.
One item that went unmentioned was a carryover from the Council's Aug. 23 meeting — a discussion of the Council's priority list. 
The list, in it's current form, is not so much of a priority list as it is a list of on-going projects, conceded City Manager Steve McClary. The document has not been reviewed or updated since McClary was appointed Interim City Manager in March, he said.
According to Ojai Mayor Paul Blatz, Council typically examines and adjusts the list twice a year.
“It will probably be on every agenda until we get to it,” he said.
