Council adopts a goal statement and prioritizes 41 tasks

The city of Ojai no longer has a “laundry list” (in the words of Mayor Johnny Johnston) of competing priorities, but a list of 41 pending projects grouped under a set of five recently-adopted Council goals for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
With the help of consulting firm Management Partners, the Ojai City Council held a three-hour goal-setting workshop April 24. The Council adopted a Management Partners report from that session during its May 22 regular meeting.
The city spent $3,000 for Management Partners' services, according to Ojai City Manager Steve McClary.
