Sheriff creates Scam Hotline

Ventura County residents have been the constant victims of scams ranging from fraudulent phone callers falsely demanding money to in person lottery scams, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. To prevent further victimization, the sheriff has created a Scam Hotline.
