“Abracadabra: A Night of Magic” is the theme of the annual Ojai Valley Community Hospital Nightingale Gala on Dec. 6 at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa.

For information on ticket purchases and sponsorship opportunities, contact Chris Rock at 805-640-2317.

The event is the centerpiece of the Ojai Valley Community Hospital Foundation Guild’s fund-raising year — an elegant evening of dancing and fine dining. It is dedicated to raising money for the nonprofit hospital and its Continuing Care Center. Individual tickets to the Gala are $275. Also, sponsorships range from $1,250 to $5,000.
Headlining the stage entertainment for the Gala will be comedy magician Dana Daniels and his psychic parrot, Luigi. Daniels will perform magic, blended with rapid-fire humor and audience participation.
Joe Skilton, award-winning magician and mentalist, and Frankie Foti, a regular performer and award-winning magician at the Magic Castle, will work some close-up magic during the social hour that begins at 6 p.m.
The Gala also includes prizes for two at Hollywood’s Magic Castle, which will include an overnight stay at the Magic Castle Hotel, dinner with wine at the Magic Castle restaurant, and admission to the Magic Castle and its slate of magical performances.
In addition, the raffle prize includes admission for two to Montecito’s Magic Castle Cabaret. Raffle tickets will be offered at $100 each, and sales will be limited to 75 tickets.
Steve Frank, who owns LifeLine Medical Transport, and his wife, Karen, are serving as honorary hosts of the 18th annual Gala. Lifeline Medical Transport is one of the lead sponsors of the Ball.
