UPDATE: Nordhoff High's "Legally Blonde" performance to be livestreamed today, Friday, March 13, at 7 p.m.

3 13 Legally Blonde“Legally Blonde the Musical,” Nordhoff High School’s annual stage performance, will be livestreamed Friday, March 13, at 7 p.m. on the Ojai Unified School District Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ojaiusd.org/videos/2965151816906099/
Due to concerns over COVID-19, performances of the student musical, in front of live audiences, scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, are canceled. However, the actors will perform Friday, March 13, at 7 p.m. for the livestream audience.
The school district announced Friday afternoon:
"In support of our amazing student-artists, cast and crew,  the district will be live-streaming tonight's performance of 'Legally Blonde the Musical.'
"Please join us on Ojai Unified School District's Facebook page — https://www.facebook.com/ojaiusd.org/videos/2965151816906099/ — at 7 p.m. to view this incredible performance and to honor the work and time invested by our students, parents and volunteers from Director Marty Babayco to Producer Jim Halverson, Music Director Bill Wagner, Vocal Director, Jaye Hersh, Stage Manager Katherine White, Choreographer Janet McNeil, and set Designer and Builder John Mirk and so many others."
The musical was performed in front of a live audience Thursday, March 12, and last weekend.
Plans on Thursday were to limit the number of tickets sold for the Friday through Sunday performances, increase space between audience members, and exercise extreme hygiene. The plan to livestream the Friday performance was announced Friday afternoon, via email, at 2:53 p.m.
On Thursday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom asked that mass gatherings of more than 250 people in the state be canceled, and that caution be exercised, especially among vulnerable populations, for smaller gatherings.
In light of the Ventura County state of emergency about COVID-19 declared the evening of March 12, and the city of Ojai and national emergencies declared Friday, March 13, there are multiple cancellations of events throughout Ojai and the nation.
