Ojai Valley School looks forward to when students can return to campus

OVS Summer Camp looks a bit different this year, with social distancing and face masks, but campers are still being creative and enjoying the outdoors. They recently decorated the walkways in front of the middle school science lab.

Ojai Valley School was set to return for in-person classes on both campuses five days a week for the upcoming school year, with thoroughly vetted health and safety procedures in place.
However, with the announcement from Gov. Gavin Newsom last week that schools could only return in person if their county is off the state’s COVID-19 monitoring list for 14 consecutive days, OVS has been in touch with Ventura County Public Health to seek a waiver to reopen the elementary division for in-person classes.
