At its June 17 meeting, the committee voted in support of another OUSD bond measure — on the Nov. 3 ballot as Measure K for $45 million.

The committee's statement in support of the bond measure reads:

“The Committee has monitored the good work and benefits of the projects completed
under the 2014 Measure J bond for the Ojai Unified School District. The committee
values the consideration by the Board of Education of a future bond to address the
remaining 2/3 of projects not considered during the original drafting of the Measure J
bond. The committee finds that the projects completed to date, and leadership of the
District administration and Bond managers has been successful.”
