Ojai Valley active COVID cases back to double digits

As of Oct. 22, there were 13,949 people who had ever been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Ventura County, and 530 active cases under quarantine. 
Out of the 13,949, 145 were in Ojai and 79 in Oak View. Thirteen of the Ojai cases and seven of the Oak View cases came in the last 14 days. Positive tests came Oct. 8 (2), 9, 12, 13, 14, 15 (3), 16 (3), 17, 18, 19 (4) and 20 (2).
Thirty-one people were in the hospital with COVID-19 countywide as of Oct. 22. Twelve people were in intensive care units. 
A total of 162 people are reported to have died from the virus in Ventura County. Ten were in Ojai and two in Oak View.
